Is there a Sequel to Family Trust Coming?
Yes! I am writing another novel, picking up a year after the wedding in the first novel. I wasn’t initially planning on it, but I’ve had enough people ask what happened next. I’ve started writing it and it’s already looking to be a similar weave between the past and present.
I really liked writing for Henry and Maggie, so going back into the past allows me to do this and show what they were like in their ‘hey day’. I also want to further delve into the relationships of the other characters – while also solving another crises that has struck the family.
I also want to explore a few of the fringe characters from the first book more as well. Rodney the tailor, as well as James and Maggie. While I’m not certain they will get their own POV chapters, I do want to spend more time with them and let readers know what makes them tick.
Peter Wilson is an award-winning writer based in Sydney Australia. His first novel, Jack Gregson & the Forgotten Portal has won awards internationally, in both the USA and United Kingdom, and quickly became a favourite with young readers.
Peter recently published a thriller / family drama novel directed at adults and looks forward to pursing further novels in the future.
