REVIEW OF RESCUE BY ANITA SHREVE

 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Rescue: A NovelIn Rescue, a rookie paramedic, Peter Webster, pulls a young woman out of a car wreck. He immediately falls for Shelia Arsenault and enters into a relationship that is very intense. They have a daughter and after two years, Shelia decides to leave and Peter has to raise their daughter Rowan alone. Rowan is veering dangerously off track, and for the first time in their ordered existence together, Webster fears for her future. Rowan is a high school senior who is drinking heavily and  ignoring her schoolwork. He does not want his daughter to ruin her life, so he contacts Shelia for assistance. He has not seen her in sixteen years. What will happen to Rowan and what torn the family apart? I guess you have to read the story to find out.

My Thoughts-

I have read many of the author's books and my favorite was Testimony.  I felt it was a little unrealistic, predictable and It took me a while to get into the storyline. I enjoyed the rescues that were performed in the story. If you were not familiar with medical jargon and abbreviations, you would have difficulty understanding the scenes.I am not saying it is a bad book but it was just not for me.
