BLOG TOUR OF CHRISTMAS AT HARRINGTON'S BY M. CARLSON

Christmas at Harrington'sIn Christmas at Harrington's, Lena Markham has just recently been released from prison after being falsely accused of embezzlement. She is starting her life all over and finds herself penniless, friendless and jobless. When she is given a secondhand coat by an elderly lady on a bus, the coat helps her get a job as Mrs. Santa in a department store. When Lena thinks that her life has gotten better something disheartening happens and it reminds her of her past. Can she keep her past a secret and can she trust the people that she has met in the town? Will she have a Merry Christmas and will her luck get better?

My Thoughts-

I cannot wait for Christmas to come and this book has put me into the holiday season early.  When Lena came to town she immediately bonded with some of the folks in the town and made their lives better. I especially liked Moira Stanfield who was very kind to Lena. Moira was not judgmental when she found out about Lena's past and they became friends.  Ms Carlson wrote a wonderful book that reminds us that everyone needs, hope, love, inspiration and a second chance. This is not only a perfect book for the Christmas season but year round. A must read.
