REVIEW OF THE HYPNOTIST BY M.J. ROSE

The Hypnotist (The Reincarnationist, Book 3)In The Hypnotist by M.J. Rose, special agent Lucian Glass of the FBI is searching for Malachai Samuels, who is from the Phoenix Foundation and the Memory Tools (Helps people to tap into past-life memories) that Malachai wants. When a stolen Matisse painting turns up slashed, the thief says that four more stolen paintings will be destroyed unless Hypnos, a fifteen hundred year old sculpture, that can give a person paranormal powers is not given to him by the museum. The Matisse was stolen twenty years earlier and during the heist Lucians first love Solange was killed. Lucian decides to go undercover in the Phoenix Foundation. To prevent his cover from being blown, he allows them to hyptnotize him. Under hypnosis, Lucian discovers past-life memories that take him back fifteen hundred years to when the Hypnos was stolen. This is the third book in The Reincarnationist series. The Fox series, Past Life, is based on the books and returns on May 28th.

My Thoughts-

I really enjoyed the novel and this was the first book in the series that I had read. The plot was engaging, suspenseful, romantic and there were some twists that made the book interesting. The characters were well developed, the flow was smooth and it was easy to read. I have always been fascinated with the paranormal and this book did not disappoint me. So pick up a copy of this great book, and check out the series on Fox. You will be not be disappointed.

Disclaimer: I was given a free copy of the book by Meryl L. Moss Media Relations, Inc. for my honest review and I was not compensated for my review.
