I have always been a fan of James Patterson especially the The Angel Experiment (Maximum Ride, Book 1)series. I was unaware that Worst Case was book three in the  Michael Bennett saga.

Meet Michael Bennet who is a New York City Detective who is a widower and has to raise 10 children on his own. There is a kidnapper who is stealing the kids of the rich people of New York and it is up to Michael to find him. The kidnapper does not want money from the victim but he wants them to answer challenge questions about how other people in their lives pay for their elite life style. If they answer wrong they are killed. The killer is trying to make a point. Michael teams up with FBI agent Emily Parker and they both set out to find the killer. When ever they get close, some one dies. Will the killer be found before it is too late?

My Thoughts-

There was a lot of suspense, action and there were twists and turns that kept you engaged throughout the book. I especially enjoyed the interaction that Michael had with his children and the nanny. There were many subplots that are occurring at the same time that kept me interested. I enjoyed all the narrators in the audiobook. They made the characters appear realistic and they were able to show the emotions of the characters in their voices. James Patterson will always be one of my favorite writers.
