The book covers a variety of topics that include networking, Botox your resume, preparing for your interview and how you should present yourself. She also discusses the differences between the baby boomers, Generation X and Y and how you can compete with them all. She even included a quiz to find out "How Hip are You"? I was able to answer most of the questions correctly and my daughter Melissa did worse than me. So I am hip! That made me feel good.
She combined humor, life experiences and provides some fun facts to clarify the information provided. She has an extensive list of websites that provide information on many different products and services that can assist with your job hunting.
The book was easy to read and so interesting, I had to force myself to go to sleep at two in the morning. I recommend this book to anyone (even a man) who is looking for a job. So do you want a copy of this great book? Enter my contest!

Thanks for your review of this timely book. An important topic for women of nearly any age, as we consistently earn less than men (75 cents to their dollar) and live longer on average, boosting our need for income. We also invest less, and tend to have less for retirement.
ReplyDeleteI plan to read it myself!
