Just read the new Daniel X novel by James Patterson.
There is an alien roaming around Earth known as Number 5. He is a nasty alien and makes people dance and sing for entertainment and then turns them in to goo. He is filming a game show for the other aliens around. Here comes Daniel to the rescue a 14 yr old alien hunter who is perfect in every way and remarkable. The book was an enjoyable read and very interesting.
